There are currently on the island of Cayo Santa Maria, four health centers providing various quality care, which is not part of your all-inclusive package. In health centers, there are lockers for your belongings and showers to get ready for your care. It is suggested to arrive fifteen minutes before your treatment. Tea are offered free for spa guests.
They are located in the hotels Melia Buenavista, Sol Cayo Santa Maria, in the spa « Aguas Claras » near the Pueblo of Las Dunas and finally in the Pueblo La Estrella. Since these are paid services, it is possible to go to the clinic of your choice. It is recommended to reserve at least 24 hours in advance for your care. You can pay cash (CUC) or carry the load to your room (payable on departure day).
Care is provided by qualified professionals in air conditioned rooms. If you enjoyed your treatment, you can leave a tip for your therapist. This gesture is always appreciated, especially with a smile and a « muchas gracias ».
Health centers are open from 7 am to 7 pm everyday. Be sure to read the rules in case of cancellation, a fee might be charged to your room if you do not notify in a timely manner. The cost of treatment in the resorts in Cuba is always based on the number of stars of the hotel. A one-hour massage costs about 60 CUC in a 4-5 stars hotel (about 10 CUC in a 2-stars hotel).

Sol Cayo Santa Maria

The health center in the Sol Cayo Santa Maria offers basic services, there is only one massage room (not air conditioned). If you need more sophisticated care, then you must go to the spa « Aguas Claras » located between the Melia Cayo Santa Maria and Melia Las Dunas. Please note that the beauty parlor of the Hotel Sol is located in a room next to the boutique.
Melia Cayo Santa Maria

This is a luxury property name « Aguas Claras » (clear water) located between the Melia Cayo Santa Maria and Melia Las Dunas. The beauty salon is located in a private room in the same building as the spa, to the left of the reception. The services provided are more extensive than the Sol Cayo Santa Maria.

Melia Buenavista

The Melia Buenavista has its own health center named YHI-SPA (the same name as the spa center « Aguas Claras ». YHI is the name of the goddess of light. It is located west of the reception building. In the same area, there are massage rooms, showers and sauna, air-conditioned gym, beauty salon, Jacuzzi [4m2], terraces with pergola and deck chairs.
