When creating the first version of our website, the photos were incorporated into the main site. At that time, it was more of a photo album than a complete website. It became difficult to update the site with photos because new pages had to be continually added. It is always nice to remember the .. old days of Cayo Santa Maria!
To solve this problem, we decided to show our photos in an album, instead of web pages, using Coppermine Photo Gallery php software. In this way, we can easily add new photos without losing the previous ones.
The site contains over two thousand photos divided into hundreds of albums. This site is updated after each trip or when we add recent satellite images of the region. Google Earth is a great tool to show you where this destination is located.
Our photo album is open to the general public. It is therefore, not mandatory to be registered to view the files. Click the [Last uploads] to see our recently added pictures in the album. Some of these photos were kindly provided by the hotel managements or by people returning from this destination. A note is always displayed on the photos to indicate the source.

Click the image above to browse through thousands of photos of Cayo Santa Maria and Cayo Ensenachos. We also have photos of Cayo Las Brujas and the cities (villages) of this province of Cuba (Villa Clara). The first photos are from 2002 (taken with a Nikon Coolpix 950).
We still have online the photos of the « amigos y amigas 2002 ». Many of you will remember our Cuban friends during the first years of the hotel. These photos were taken in January and December 2002. We did not continue to update this section, as it would be almost impossible to update given the growing number of employees and hotels. It is always good to see these faces. They were the first employees of Cayo Santa Maria!

It would be impossible to create a website without using specialized software (especially for underwater photography that requires special attention).
