Opening of Barcelo Santa Maria has been postponed to Dec 25th.

Coming for the summer of 2008 Barceló Hotels and Resorts will open the first of four hotels that will create the largest resort complex in Cuba that will ultimately offer a total of 2,700 guestrooms.

The first hotel : Barceló Matanzas will open on September 2008 and include 624 guestrooms.

The second hotel : Barceló Trinidad will follow in Januray 2009 and include 684 guestrooms.

The Remedios and Santiago in 2010

The resort will be one of the most modern and luxurious resorts in all of the Caribbean and feature its own pueblo (or town) within the resort with a large variety of bars, a la carte restaurants, entertainment and shops within the resort's own town.
