Swimming with dolphins, an unforgettable event!

Departure from the hotel to join the south province of Cienfuegos. Performing dolphins and sea lions to start a day of dreams. Immediately, after we arrive, we take a shower to get into the pool and swim and have fun with these wonderful creatures, dolphins.

After bathing, we will take the highway that leads to Cienfuegos to eat at the restaurant « Palacio Valle », one of the most beautiful buildings in Cuba, where one can enjoy spectacular views of the bay of Cienfuegos. After dinner, we will explore the latest city declared Cultural Heritage by UNESCO. Guided tour of central and surrounding areas. Free time for shopping.

We did not do this excursion from Cayo Santa Maria but during our two weeks tour in Cuba in 2006. We visited the dolphinarium. A great experience! If you want to see dolphins show and swim with them, there is a new dolphinarium near Cayo Ensenachos (about ten minutes from Cayo Santa Maria).

The Cuban tour operator Gaviota Tours also offer this excursion, but the program is different and less expensive, because swimming is not included in the price.
